I might have forgotten my Lord of the Rings lore, but this is a battle I have never heard of. Delete Rewritten with proper info: Keep Rasmus (talk) 07:38, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

• Actually, an earlier version of this article discusses a real 1968 battle[1] which occured in the Jordanian village of Al-Karameh (sometimes called Karameh). Revert to that earlier version, cleanup, and keep. -- BD2412 ^talk 19:33, 2005 Jun 7 (UTC)
  • What does "Karameh was a big battle between the Elves and Dwarves of Middle Earth" have to do with Jordan? I don't think there was a Tolkien character named Big Nose George, either. Delete. RickK 20:16, Jun 7, 2005 (UTC)
    • OK, BD2412 showed me that there was a real verson buried amongst the drek in the article's history. I have reverted to that version and re-added the vfd header. I change my vote to keep and cleanup. RickK 21:00, Jun 7, 2005 (UTC)
