[edit] Fair and balanced
Disambugation page not needed if no article above. Trödel|talk 18:52, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Per many of the comments here and on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Fair and balanced (marketing slogan) I have merged all content to this page. I now vote Keep Trödel|talk 03:12, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Strong Keep controversal phrase which was the central point of a notable (and somewhat amusing) court case. A very solid 446,000 Google hits Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 20:35, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
- Suggest that me move Fair and balanced (marketing slogan) to Fair and balanced. This content is duplicated there in a more effective manner. Meelar (talk) 22:30, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
- I personally think the slogan should be merged with Fox News Channel. But if we do keep, we don't need a disambig page. If we decide to keep, then I concur with Meelar. DaveTheRed 23:29, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. More explicitly: the content in Fair and balanced and Fair and balanced (marketing slogan) should be kept. The entry Fair and balanced should be kept, because it has become a well-known catchphrase. The entry Fair and balanced (marketing slogan) is useless, but redirects are cheap and it might be too much trouble to stay GFDL-kosher if it's delete. What stuff should go under what heading, I don't really care. I'm generally mergist. There's plenty of "room" in the Fox News Channel article. However, there's enough material in Fair and balanced (marketing slogan) to be an article all by itself. So I guess my vote amounts to "keep everything and shuffle the contents around as desired." Dpbsmith (talk) 02:16, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep and do not merge. ComCat 02:34, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Neutral on a possible merge. -Sean Curtin 02:48, Mar 5, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, but delink Fair and balanced (marketing slogan). — Gwalla | Talk 03:45, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep as rewritten; the disambig wasn't really necessary. Bearcat 06:41, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Binadot 20:10, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect to FOX News. This would be better discussed in context. Rossami (talk) 00:54, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Merge the info? The redirect could be seen as POV - David Gerard 15:35, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, no merge - David Gerard 15:35, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep Do not merge, article is important in and of itself. --Oarias 00:20, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)
