  • An odd comment. Virtually all admins count the nomination as a vote, if they feel they must merely count votes. Seperating the vote from the nomination is fine, since not all nominations are for delete (since some newbies misunderstand the point of AfD). -Splash^talk 21:26, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

(And frankly, as long as WP:AFD says "Consider creating the first entry, for example: *'''Delete''' per nomination. - ~~~~ to begin consensus gathering," I'd say there's nothing wrong with him voting for his own AfD nominations.
