Attention, reviewers: A previous reviewer could not decide whether this article is appropriate for creation.

The prior reviewer left the following comment: Article looks like a family tree, but the sources and google show at least a few news articles about the claims in first part of article. This could be a stub at least, but would require major cleanup. Perhaps article could be created without the family tree portion? Kesac 18:34, 24 February 2007 (UTC).

Historical Connections

Earlier in the year 1066 on 5th of January the old King of England died, his name is now recorded by history as Edward the Confessor. He was a direct descendant of the famous King Alfred the Great. Edward had no children and so there was no direct heir to take the throne. He did have a grand-nephew called Edgar but unfortunately he was only a young boy when Edward died. Edgar is now recorded as Edgar the Atheling. The Barons, Clergymen on other powerful men in England held a Witan, or council to decide what should happen as Britain was under threat from invader from Norway, Holland and France.

It was a decision of the Witan that a son of a powerful Baron should be crowned King and lead the English army to repel the foreign invaders. In September Harold marched the army north to Yorkshire and on 20th September he was victorious by fighting off invaders from Norway. The same day news arrived to say that England was being attacked on the South coast. Harold marched his men towards this new threat and on the 14th of October 1066 a battle was fought near Hastings on the south coast of England.

Harold was killed and William from Normandy took the crown of England, and history records his name as William the Conqueror, and the battle scene is depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry.

But what if…… Harold had been victorious……what if…. Edgar was allowed to inherit the throne when he got older…… what if …. what if…….

Earlier in the year 2007, in January, adverts were places in International newspapers, (including America, and Australia) by an English group called English Heritage requesting people to submit their family trees if they could race their lineage back to the time of the Battle of Hastings in September 1066 when William from Normandy in France invaded England and took the crown of England. They were completing a new visitor centre at the site of the historical battle and they wanted to find out how things might have turned out if the then ruler Harold of England had no been killed on that fateful day.

English Heritage was looking for people alive today who could trace their lineage back to the blood line of Edward the Confessor and to his heir Edgar the Atheling.

Edgar the Atheling had no descendants but he did have a sister. Her name was Margaret but history records her name as Saint Margaret of Scotland. Margaret had married Malcolm 3rd King of Scotland and they had children and it is possible to trace people who are alive today who are direct descendents of Margaret and therefore carry the blood line of the original Royal family of England.

Many people responded to the appeal by English Heritage and sent in their trees. These trees were scrutinised by historians at the offices of English Heritage and several people were named as having provable lineages back to the original Royal Family of England. There are of course potentially thousand of descendents of Alfred the Great, but finding provable documentary evidence is rather difficult. Judith has several direct lines back to St Margaret of Scotland and so the concentration of Royal Blood is intensified.

Judith Di-Sandolo (nee Hunt) now living in Glamorganshire, South Wales, UK, was named as one of the people with a provable lineage to Saint Margaret of Scotland.

Judith’s family tree includes some interesting historical people including Kings and Princes of England Wales and Scotland and 2 saints.

The following list shows her relationship to some of them, …Judith is the

30th Great Grand daughter of Brian Boru of Ireland 29th Great Grand daughter of King Alfred the Great of England 29th Great Grand daughter of Hywel Dda Prince of Wales 29th Great Grand daughter of Princes Nest of Wales 28th Great Grand daughter of Philip Maunsell cup bearer to William the Conqueror 27th Great Grand niece of St. Gilbert of Sempringham and the Gilbertines 25th Great Grand daughter of William the Conqueror 25th Great Grand daughter of Saint Margaret of Scotland 21st Great Grand daughter of Edward 1st King of England 3rd cousin 20 times removed of Robert The Bruce of Scotland 18th Great Grand daughter of John of Gaunt Prince of England 16th Great Grand daughter of Owain Glyndwr, Prince of Wales. 11th Great Grand daughter of John De Vere 15th Earl of Oxford 1st cousin 11 times removed of Edward De Vere 17th Earl of Oxford 1st cousin 11 times removed of Ralph (Jocelyn) Josselin the Diarist

[edit] Isidar Mithrim

As known in the novel "Eragon", Isidar Mithrim (ĭ-SIH-dhar MĒ-thrim) is also known as the Star Saphire, which is located at the top of the Varden's base, Tronjheim. This is a magnificent dwarf city crafted through many years of cutting through the solid marble. The central column, called Farthen Dûr, is a little over a mile high, with the Isidar Mithrim mounted at the top. People on the top floor, best reached by entrance via dragon flight, may stand on the saphire. The Isidar Mithrim is a natural saphire of enormous size, estimated to be about 100 feet across. It has the design of a star on it, hence the name. This saphire is shattered at the end of the book, distracting the shade Durza, while Eragon defeats him. For further plot details, see Eragon. Naturally, the dwarves are angry at Arya for shattering the Isidar Mithrim (dwarves and elves have always been rivals anyway) though Eragon's dragon Saphira claims to be able to put it back together through the special magic dragons have. Such magics are currently known to be uncontrollable according to the books, so the validity of this statement is questionable.

Mark Leung is most well known for his invention of the College Saga series, eventually made into a "full length" (41 minutes and 32 seconds) movie. The College Saga series and film is a mock up of an RPG (Role Playing Game), made using real people and real footage combined with computer generated effects. College Saga appears to be a mock up of games from the Final Fantasy series, taking elements, including music and gameplay format from the Final Fantasy series. Although it has only fairly recently been made and published, it has already established a following.
