[edit] Chrono Trigger: Chrono Symphonic

Chrono Symphonic is a fanmade album, reworking the entire soundtrack to the Super Nintendo game 'Chrono Trigger', with modern day music programs or recording software. Each track is executed in the form of an orchestra, with convincing composition.

The project began in October 2004, originally intended to be used for a fanmade movie, however due to the films apparent lack of progress, the soundtrack is now in circulation as a free, independant work, for the general public.

The soudntrack is availabe for free download, either via bittorrent tracker, or by single file download.

[edit] Lyrics

The Ballad of Ira Hayes

Ira Hayes,

Ira Hayes

[CHORUS:]

Call him drunken Ira Hayes

He won't answer anymore

Not the whiskey drinkin' Indian

Nor the Marine that went to war.

Gather round me people there's a story I would tell

About a brave young Indian you should remember well From the land of the Pima Indian

A proud and noble band

Who farmed the Phoenix valley in Arizona land.

Down the ditches for a thousand years

The water grew Ira's peoples' crops

'Till the white man stole the water rights And the sparklin' water stopped.

Now Ira's folks were hungry

And their land grew crops of weeds

When war came, Ira volunteered

And forgot the white man's greed.

[CHORUS:]

Call him drunken Ira Hayes

He won't answer anymore

Not the whiskey drinkin' Indian

Nor the Marine that went to war.

There they battled up Iwo Jima's hill,

Two hundred and fifty men

But only twenty-seven lived to walk back down again.

And when the fight was over

And when Old Glory raised

Among the men who held it high

Was the Indian, Ira Hayes.

[CHORUS:]

Call him drunken Ira Hayes

He won't answer anymore

Not the whiskey drinkin' Indian

Nor the Marine that went to war.

Ira returned a hero

Celebrated through the land He was wined and speeched and honored; Everybody shook his hand.

But he was just a Pima Indian

No water, no crops, no chance

At home nobody cared what Ira'd done

And when did the Indians dance.

[CHORUS:]

Call him drunken Ira Hayes

He won't answer anymore

Not the whiskey drinkin' Indian

Nor the Marine that went to war.

Then Ira started drinkin' hard;

Jail was often his home

They'd let him raise the flag and lower it

like you'd throw a dog a bone.

He died drunk one mornin'

Alone in the land he fought to save

Two inches of water in a lonely ditch

Was a grave for Ira Hayes.

[CHORUS:]

Call him drunken Ira Hayes

He won't answer anymore

Not the whiskey drinkin' Indian

Nor the Marine that went to war.

Yeah, call him drunken Ira Hayes

But his land is just as dry

And his ghost is lyin' thirsty

In the ditch where Ira died.

[edit] Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) are technology services and systems used to gather, store, correlate and analyze security log data from information systems.

Security log data is then used by network security organizations to response and mitigate attacks on their network(s), making it possible to see, for example, all the virtual private network connections that are active when a behind-the-firewall server comes under attack. Or in the case of an incident discovered after the fact, such as the theft of credit card numbers, to produce post-mortem reports for police and regulators from archived data.

Regulated industries that carry out critical privacy-based services across electronic networks (such as utilities, financial services and health care) are users of SIEM services and systems.

[edit] Bill Sindelar

Bill Sindelar was born in Cleveland, OH. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Sindelar got a job as host of G4's Blister, a show dedicated to action video games. Blister was the first show to air on the new network when it launched in 2002 and quickly became popular, as did Sindelar himself. The Blister Declassified series, which premiered in mid-2003, was intended to be a 3-part series on Sindelar's quest to find the Polybius while looking at action games as usual. After the 1st 2 parts of Blister Declassified aired and just after production finished on the final part, G4 announced a merge with Techtv and cancellation of shows on both networks in early 2004. Blister was one of the victims of the merger. While the show's staff wanted G4 to air the final part of Blister Declassified as the series finale, G4 decided to air Skun'd, a parody of MTV's Punk'd, as the final episode. After Skun'd aired in early 2004, Blister was never seen again and the final part of Blister Declassified never aired. While some of the staff was moved to work on G4's other shows, Sindelar was laid off.

After leaving G4, Sindelar moved on to other projects. He joined the Wayne Brady and Friends improv. tour as an Improv player (later joined by fellow G4 host Cory Rouse). He began a career in theater, with roles in Grease, Damn Yankees, and Hotel Clyde and Seamore. He has done audience warm-up work on a number of shows including American Idol, The ShowBiz Show with David Spade, and Survivor finales. He currently is a spokesman for Best Buy, appearing as an employee in HD-TV ads.
