[edit] Paul Mooney
Paul Mooney (born December 10, 1957 in County Durham, England) is an independent music publisher, record producer, mastering engineer and record label owner.
Having worked as a music journalist, Mooney formed his first record label in 1979. In the late 1980s he ran Ardent Music (GB) and formed the Ardent / Zing / Forever group of labels with a roster featuring American artists G.C. Cameron, Sam Dees, Ronnie Dyson, John Ellison, Marshall Titus and Byron woods. At Ardent he also worked with then-unknown British artists East Coast Love Affair and Lighthouse Family for whom he negotiated music publishing and record deals with PolyGram Music and Polydor Records. Lighthouse Family became a double-platinum selling pop group in 1995.
Mooney then acted as an A&R and production consultant for Grapevine Music Group while he built up a new company called Millbrand Music which today represents many American songwriters and publishers in European territories. Millbrand clients include Nolan Porter who co-wrote and originally recorded "If I Could Only Be Sure" which was covered by pop star Paul Weller on his Studio 150 album in 2004. Porter is married to Patrice "Candy" Zappa, sister of the legendary Frank Zappa (December 21, 1940 – December 4, 1993).
In January 2007 Mooney launched a new label, Selecta Records, and released singles by soul and R&B singers Sheba Potts-Wright (licensed from Ecko Records) and Bobby Hutton.

[edit] Junius (Band)
Junius is a band based out of Boston, Massachusetts. They can be classified as indie/rock/progressive. The band is currently on the Radar Recordings label, they have released two E.P. albums: Forcing Out The Silence, released September 2004 and Blood is Bright, released February 2006. Junius has been featured on "MTV2's On The Rise".
Junius has had posative reviews on it's most recent album "Blood is Bright", a few being in: The Boston Globe, Exclaim! Magazine, Decoy Music Magazine, Bystander Fanzine, Mammoth Press, UpBeet Music, The Big Takeover, Disclosure Magazine, Amplifier Magazine, Lambgoat.com, Razorcake, Wrank Music, Deafening Sound, Performer Magazine, Soundcheck Magazine, and Punknews.org.
“Blood is Bright showcases [Junius’] modern take on new wave, with spacey guitars, looming vocals and enough originality to set them at the top of the game. The band has created strikingly original material while avoiding many of the trends of the current music scene, in turn bringing forth work that would make their influences proud.” -as quoted from Decoy Music.
Junius is:
Mike Repasch-Nieves: guitar
Joseph E. Martinez: guitar, vocals
Dana Filloon: drums
Joel Munguia: Reynolds bass
Singles from the "Blood is Bright" E.P. are: "Blood is Bright", and "At the Age of Decay". Possibly one of their most well known songs is from the "Forcing Out The Silence" album, called: "Hiding Knives" which is available to download free from their website.
The band is currently working on their newest LP Album, and has already been named one of "Decoy's Most Anticipated Albums of 2007".
