Wikipedia:Article Referencing Drive
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Article Referencing Drive is a collaboration, usually lasting a week, in an effort to improve the quality of articles by introducing or adding more references to them. This is part of an on-going effort to improve the quality of Wikipedia, and address the major issue of the need of citations in articles.
- /Archives for previous nominations.
If you wish to nominate an article, add the following to the bottom of this page:
===ARTICLE=== :Nominated MONTH DAY, YEAR ; Support: # (sign with four tildes) ; Comments: * (put your reason for nomination, sign again)
To vote, simply add # ~~~~
under the "Support" section in each nomination. In order for a request to be a contender to be the next referencing drive, it must receive support from at least three people in a week.
Collaborations typically last a week, unless they really need more time, or the entire article gets completely referenced before the end of the week.
This is a new collaboration effort — feel free to improve it!
With that in mind, let the nominations begin!

- A former FA with only three anthology-type books listed as references, and no inline citations. For a topic as broad and important to an English-language encyclopedia, that isn't sufficient referencing. -Fsotrain09 17:43, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
