[edit] Artie's arrests

Shouldn't there be a section on all the times Artie's been arrested for crimes?

[edit] I can't belive how fat he is in that picture

The fact that he is sitting down makes it even funnier. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hoponpop69 (talkcontribs) 04:57, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Artie's Departure

Somehow the person who removed my post, allowed other speculation to remain as to how he might leave the sho. People can leave a job either from dying or going to another job. And Fat comedians are well known to leave gigs through their demise. Any comments about his possible departure are speculation until he leaves arent they? The cast members were the ones speculation about his death, not me.

So remove the other speculation, this is an encyclopedia not an Artie Lange fan page. LilDice 17:47, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I do think it's a valid topic. My edits are just as valid and have as much sourcing as anything else in the section. If you want to remove the whole section, I'll abide by that but don't single out my edits for no reason other than you don't like them. Doug rosenberg 17:51, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

What sourcing? You didn't cite anything. This same problem occurs on many of the Stern pages, people feel the need to add every little thing that happens on the show. This is the Biography of Artie Lange, the fact that he missed a day of work in March 2007 and there was speculation that he was on heroin is not notable. If you want to make a list of every thing that is said about Artie on the show go do it on your own webpage, no one is stopping you. LilDice 17:58, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Problem solved removed the section, was nothing but rumor. LilDice 18:02, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I was the one who first put a paragraph detailing Artie's possible departure from the show. Why would you remove the paragraph? The speculation isn't exclusively based on the fact that Artie missed "one day of work in March 2007". Artie's possible departure and him being burnt out with the show is discussed almost daily on the show. It's not detailing "every little thing that happens on the show." Talks about Artie leaving is certainly not a little detail. Tofilmfan 10:20, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

It's still just speculation on the show if another news outlet picks it up that's a different story. Read that whole section again though, it was all 'many people think', there has been 'much speculation', 'possibly leaving the show'. Those are all weasel words that don't make for a good encyclopedia article. In the grand scheme of things it's notable on the same scale as major changes in his career.
