I don't think that this page should be deleted because it was made to commemorate a man who died for his country. I don't understand why it is still on candidates for speedy deletion now that it has been categorized, but please can you just let a last tribute to a brave man stand. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SaJoLa (talkcontribs).

I also plan to expand on this page when I find out more about Corporal Arthur Reginald Green and as a first timer I think I am entitled to be given a chance to prove this page's worth, though this may take a while as I have a very busy schedule.

If you still think my page should be deleted could you please state your reasons here so I know what it is I am doing wrong and can ammend it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.112.14.239 (talkcontribs).

As the article was initially written, I wasn't able to see the notability of a pneumonia victim who died during WWI. The write-up was unclear, unlike the other articles on KIAs from WWI. As the category has been added (and provided a better context) and some work on the text has also improved the grammar, I no longer feel that this article meets the speedy delete guidelines as I did when I first tagged the article. Please work to make this page as high quality as the other WWI KIAs in the category. I'm sure it will be a valuable tool for describing this man's contributions to country and world. I have put Corporal Arthur Reginald Green under WWI KIAs but I am not sure if this is right as he was not killed by enemy fire but contracted pneumonia. However there is not a WWI Spanish Flu Victims section, or even a WWI Died of Illness section so I am unclear as to where he should go. If anyone has any thoughts, please post them here.

Also Green is under C in the WWI KIAs page (presumably because the site misenterpreted Corporal as his surname) and I don't know how to put it under G. Again, any ideas would be useful.

OK, its been a while and whilst I am sympathetic about this man's death, he doesn't appear to have done anything notable about him. If nothing is given within the next week, Im going to put him up for deletion.--Jackyd101 21:21, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm trying to find out more information about Green and there is a man at my school who may be able to give me more, but getting hold of him is proving difficult. I will put up more on Green as soon as I can.--User:SaJoLa
