Recently I found that there was a wikipedia article for me, which was surprising. It was even more surprising to see myself listed as the founder of Artech, a company with which I have no connection. Now the "person" article redirects to this Artech company article, so I have literally no reason to be associated with it. Doug TenNapel is also listed on the Artech page, though his wikipedia entry does not show any connection with Artech. Artech Studios looks like some kind of 'fantasy-football.'

I will edit this article, but would like to know how to fully remove myself from this inaccurate association with this company, as well as remove the redirect. --bwana 08:17, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Strange information

I removed the following statement from the article:

It merged with Accolade before its purchase by Digital Eclipse Software.

What does it mean? Did Accolade acquire Artech? If so, the statement is false. Accolade was acquired by Infogrames before they changed their name to Atari. Does it mean they were about to be acquired by Accolade, but Digital Eclipse beat them to the punch? If so, it needs to be reworded. It is not included until this can be fixed. — Frecklefoot | Talk 19:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Incorrect information

Not sure which Artech this page is supposed to refer to, but it appears there may be information about a bunch of unrelated companies here.

Artech Studios aka Artech Digital Entertainment is a game developer, based in Ottawa, Canada. They did develop several Monopoly titles, but not Driver. "Artech Entertainment Ltd" may be someone else? But Artech Studios and Artech Digital Entertainment are the same company. Should I fix?

Considering I've just been talking to an Artech (exising Canadian company who did Monopoly, Raze's Hell, and some other stuff), this is definately referring to two seperate companies. The Canadian firm is still existing, and privately held. --62.77.181.1 00:31, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Updated page - now how do I change the title?

I've added actual correct information.

Now, the title should be Artech Digital Entertainment, and the name Artech Studios should also link to it as well (same company). Perhaps someone else can do that step? Unsure how...
