The Articles of the Confedoration was the first ever real constitution. It gave states what many people thought was too much power. It gave the states the ability to print it's own money, form it's own army and many other things our goverment today does for us. The Articles of Confedoration how ever, was never changed until after Shay's Rebellion which was a small uprising led by none other then a Millitary officer with the last name Shay. Shay's Rebellion took place in New England where he showed that the Articles were wrong. After that there was a meeting in Pennsalvania where the Bill of Rights was writen to replace the Articles.
