Héctor Arturo Sanhueza Medel (born November 11, 1979) is a Chilean football player, who currenly plays midfield for the Chilean club Colo-Colo.

Sanhueza began his career with the second division Chilean club Fernández Vial. He than spent time on Everton and Santiago Wanderers of Chile before making the move to Colo-Colo. In 2005 Sanhueza decided to stay in La Liga Chilena instead of moving to a Mexican club. After the 2006 season there were rumors again that Sanhueza was very close to making a move to Mexican club CF Atlante or even the Netherlands. However, Sanhueza ended up signing a contract extension to stay with Colo-Colo until 2011[1].
