Artur Artuzov

Artur Khristyanovich Artuzov (surname at birth Frauchi) Артур Христианович Артузов (Фраучи), (18 February 1891, Tver region, Russia - 1937) headed the Soviet foreign intelligence service INO, part of OGPU, later the NKVD, from August 1931 to May 1935. He was arrested in 1937 and executed.
