Two art-collecting aliens arrive in Florence, Italy and later begin stealing great works of art all over Italy, like "The Last Supper", while the turtles and April O'Neil are there. The citizens and police of Florence blame the turtles for the thefts, and after being defeated in their efforts to stop the aliens, the turtles have to escape an angry mob of people.

The turtles again encounter the aliens, who learn that their names are Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael. The aliens decide to take the turtles back to their home planet.

April broadcasts from the Coliseum in Rome, the capital of Italy, trying to lure the aliens into draining their spaceship's energy by beaming up the Coliseum. The turtles get free, and with Splinter's help, the turtles convince the aliens that the artworks they stole are counterfeits. Disgusted, the aliens return the works of art and head for their home planet.
