[edit] AdventureQuest
Main Article: AdventureQuest
AdventureQuest (AQ) is a browser-based RPG featuring simple gameplay mechanics and turn-based battles. The basic game, coded in Macromedia Flash, is free to play. To become a Guardian requires a one-time payment. Guardians have access to special quests and items that are not available to those who play for free.
The primary in-game currency for AQ is gold; however, a special form of currency called Z-Tokens is required to purchase some items. Z-Tokens can be collected a few at a time as special drops from creatures defeated in battle, or a large amount of Z-Tokens can be purchased by players using real-world money.
The graphic style of AQ is closer to caricature than later game offerings from Artix Entertainment. The contrast between AQ and DragonFable (see below) is particularly noticeable; DragonFable's art is more detailed and less cartoonish, even though DragonFable is actually a prequel to AdventureQuest, taking place some years earlier.

[edit] ZardWars
ZardWars is a spin-off of AdventureQuest where almost all monsters players can fight are 'Zards'. Zards are frog-like creatures with claws and are half your character's size. It was originally created as a test bed for a new database structure. Players start out with a Long sword. It is a similar-sized RPG, and players will find similar items as those in AdventureQuest, yet at a lower price. (ie: Golden Plate armor) In addition, a previously staff-only items, the Rhublade and the fun but useless Powerword Whoops, may be bought in the Zardwars shop. It should also be noted that currently this game is only accessible to Guardians.
[edit] AssaultMecha
AssaultMecha is a game that Artix Entertainment has canceled development of. However, there is a reference to it in Adventure Quest in the form of the Assaultmecha armor, which is now a rare item.
It is said that now there are plans to go on with the project that was formally known as AssaultMecha in the quote "Artix has plans to release at least two more Flash titles in future, including an assault mech game that Adam describes as "so over the top, old school anime style, non-stop destruction." found in the interview at mpogd.com[[1]]
[edit] AdventureQuest Poker
AQ 'just for fun!' Poker is an AdventureQuest Card Game with AQ characters on the face cards. Players have a limit of innitial bet of 1,000 gold and a regular 52 card deck. It is an adaptation of the well-known card game Poker; players bet gold, completely unrelated to in-game AdventureQuest gold, thus the tag 'just for fun!' This game was released when AQ went offline for matinence.
Initially created by Captain Rhubarb, this card game is now in the process of being updated by AE programmer Zhoom and AE artist Kaley.
