Artificial Life, Inc. (OTC BB: ALIF) is a leading provider of award winning mobile 3G technology, games and applications with global headquarters in Hong Kong and a European office in Berlin, Germany. It is a US public corporation on NASDAQ and currently trades under the symbol ALIF. The Company was founded in 1993 by current CEO Eberhard Schoneburg in Boston.
The main business areas of Artificial Life, Inc. include high quality 3G video streaming, 3D interactive mobile games, Java games, mobile entertainment and mobile technology platforms. Their games are distributed globally in partnership with prominent operators such as Cingular, TeliaSonera, mobilkom austria, and Hutchison 3G. The Company also has its own M-Commerce portal selling mobile games directly to mobile phone users around the world, known as Botme.com.
The Company has recently partnered with CBS Interactive to develop and launch America's Next Top Model, based on The CW's popular reality show, as well as Big Brother 7: All Stars mobile game. Starwave Mobile of Walt Disney Internet Group had also bought distribution rights to Artificial Life's V-Boy and V-Girl for the US, Canada and the UK.

Artificial Life, Inc. was founded in 1993 by current CEO Eberhard Schoneburg, and incorporated in Delaware in 1994. The Company began as a developer of intelligent avatar applications creating award-winning products such as ALife WebGuide™, ALife Messenger™, ALife Smart Text Analyzer™, ALife Portfolio Manager™, ALife Insure™, and ALife eCRM™. By 1998, the Company became public on NASDAQ.
At the height of the internet business just before the millennium, Artificial Life, Inc. developed custom-made intelligent avatar applications for major financial institutions, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Price Waterhouse Coopers and UBS.
After the internet bubble burst, the Company changed its business strategies, migrated to the mobile platform and moved to Hong Kong, the center of telecommunications in Asia, with the second highest mobile penetration rate in the world.
