Arthur Morgan (born July 23, 1954) is Sinn Féin TD for Louth and is party spokesperson on the Environment & Local Government and also spokesperson on Employment.

Arthur Morgan was born in Omeath in County Louth. Educated locally, he joined the family fish processing company, of which he is currently a director. Mr Morgan is a founding member of Cooley Environmental and Health Action Committee which campaigns against Sellafield and has investigated the high incidence of cancer in the North Louth area.

Morgan is a former IRA prisoner jailed for seven years for possession of weapons [1] [2].

In the 1999 European Election in June of that year Morgan polled 20,015 first-preference votes in the Leinster constituency. He failed to be elected but was elected to Louth County Council on the same day in 1999. In the 2002 General Election he was elected to Dáil Éireann as a Sinn Féin TD.
