Arthur Miles was a 1920s Texan singer of cowboy songs. He is credited with independently creating a style of throat singing as a substitute for the normal yodeling of Country Western music. Two recordings attributed to Arthur Miles exist, both of which are titled Lonely Cowboy[1].
