Artavazd Karamyan (born November 14, 1979 in Yerevan) is an Armenian professional footballer. He currently plays for the Romanian team Poli Timişoara in the left midfield position. During 2004-2007 period, Kara was playing in Rapid Bucureşti and was in the list of best 5 players of Rapid. Playing for the Armenia national team since 2000, he has 32 caps and 3 international goals. Very popular player on computer games, and is ranked amongst the best along with Dennis Radionov and Iggli Tare.
Artavazd has a twin brother Arman Karamyan, who also plays in Romanian top league in midfield position, but in Armenia national team he plays as a forward.
