ATG (Art Technology Group, Inc., NASDAQ: ARTG) makes the software and delivers the on demand solutions that many global brands use to power their e-commerce Web sites. The company was incorporated in 1991 and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
ATG was cofounded by Jeet Singh and Joseph Chung, both graduates of MIT. [1]
ATG acquired Primus Knowledge Solutions in an acquisition that closed on Nov. 1, 2004. The elements of Primus software formed an element of ATG's current software offering.
