Art Staed is the Iowa State Representative from the 37th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2007.
Staed currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Education committee; the Labor committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the Economic Growth committee, where he is vice chair. He also serves on the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee.
Staed was elected in 2006 with 6,426 votes, defeating Republican opponent Andy Anderson. [1]
