[edit] Biography
Aron dropped his last name after discovering that it was a stepname, after having a lifelong estrangement from his step parent Samuel Gutierrez. After posting ads on MySpace and around campus, he attracted member Laura Jennings.
[edit] The Parachutes
They have performed in Los Angeles at B.B. King's and House of Blues, and have opened shows for John Mayer and Matisyahu. Ignored by record labels due largely to their music's strong views on the problems of organized labor, education and aesthetic beauty, they have become popular with online press, such as Rbally and College newspapers and MySpace. The band is known for being able to perform virtuostic, difficult pieces live, blending electronic and traditional rock music. Their music style has been called Alternative, Electronica, Techno, Emo, always escaping one label.
