Arola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 20 km southwest of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 284 and an area of 6.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Arola contains the frazione (subdivision) Pianezza.
Arola borders the following municipalities: Cesara, Civiasco, Madonna del Sasso.
