Arne Friedrich (IPA—German ['aɐnə 'fri:driç]) (born May 29, 1979 in Bad Oeynhausen) is a German professional footballer.

As of 6 September 2006, the Hertha Berlin captain has represented his country on 45 occasions, his debut coming in the 2-2 draw to Bulgaria in Sofia, on August 21, 2002. On December 21, 2004 Friedrich captained Germany to a 5-1 friendly defeat of Thailand in Bangkok.
