Armaced caught by surprise - what a geek

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!

[[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]]

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Thanks for the hint, Meelar. Let me give it a try.

[edit] Nice catch

Hi; I'd just like to extend my thanks to you for catching User:Hans im Glück's malicious example.gif. It's now permanently deleted. Nice catch. :) -- Hadal 05:05, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Neal Stephenson

You wrote Hmmm. How about this?

Well, the phrasing is less awkward, but his last four books were definately historical fiction and you removed that phrase... Also, I don't think his other works (other than those four) have the predisposition as you indicate. --ssd 13:36, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I don't disagree, it is just that I can't figure out how to add the phrase back in without messing up teh prose.  :) --ssd 02:05, 20 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Jay Jay the Jet Plane

Thanks for reverting Jay Jay the Jet Plane. How can I make a revert?

[edit] System of the World

Thanks for supplying that quote--I'll recategorize the books myself. I had always assumed that they were placed there simply because most of his previous books were science fiction, but wasn't aware that he supported the idea. (I personally think he's mistaken, but who am I?). Best wishes, Meelar (talk) 13:43, July 13, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] gamecom

Image:GameComWebstuff.jpg hope this helps --TIB (talk) 04:04, August 28, 2005 (UTC)

gamecom is the newest portable player i own but if GTA:LCS is as good as it's cracked up to be, it's PSP time. --TIB (talk) 19:39, August 28, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Pi

There are several published discussions of what Plato's number theory and geometry may have meant. Some of them, and most of those on the web, are tosh. I do not recall the exact reference in Popper, except that it is a footnote to the first volume of The Open Society (the last to chapter 10??) Fortunately, Popper's books are usually exhaustively indexed. Good luck. Septentrionalis 02:09, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagged as Fair Use

[edit] California WikiProjects

As a California Wikipedian, you may be interested in the California WikiProject (and/or one of its 'daughter' Wikiprojects on Southern California, Santa Barbara County, California State Highways and California County Routes). Please take a look at the WikiProject to see if there is anything that interests you. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact me. If enough people express an interest, it would also be very easy to create additional daughter WikiProjects, such as a Northern California WikiProject or a California Politics WikiProject.

It has also more than seven months since the 2nd Los Angeles area Wikipedia meetup ([ 26 September]] 2005), so it is time for another one. There have also been California meetups in San Diego (18 October 2005) and a very small one in Santa Barbara (8 April 2006. It's also about time that the Bay Area gets its first Meetup if anyone is willing to organize it. BlankVerse 06:35, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mr. Hero

Hey, nice work on the Mr. Hero article. Any plans to create articles for other Tekno Comix properties? Watchsmart 06:46, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
