Armour High School

Armour High School is the only high school in Armour, South Dakota. It is the only high school in Armour School District 21-1, which also includes an elementary and a middle school. Armour High School's athletic teams are nicknamed the "Packers" and play in Class B of the South Dakota High School Activities Association. In football and girls' basketball, Armour plays in conjunction with Tripp-Delmont High School; these teams are known as the Tripp-Delmont/Armour "Nighthawks" and play in Class 9AA and Class A respectively. Beginning in the 2007-08 school year, the Tripp-Delmont and Armour will compete together as the "Nighthawks" in all sports (boy's and girl's basketball, volleyball, football, and boy's and girl's track and field).

Famous Alumni include: Anthony Eugene Weatherford, Butch, David Nour, Matt Mills, Eric Dewaard, Mike Holbeck, Dan Harmdierks, Gary Sparks, Ryan Wasson, The Venhuizen Brothers, Alex Brenner, musician Jesse Gilliam and Famous Rotarian Dr. Dick Strayer who graduated in 1952.
