[edit] Description
The player controls a small jeep and must destroy the many tanks and helicopters that populate the war-torn cityscape that represents the game's single play area. As with many games of the time, all of the background graphics were created with the addition of a monitor bezel/plastic overlay; with the game itself only generating the monochrome jeeps, tanks, helicopters and the shots they fire.
[edit] Availability
The game usually appeared as a coin operated arcade cabinet. It was also licensed to the Vectrex console system. Currently the game is supported by three ROM types: MAME and the CINEMU Cinematronics emulator. A version written in Macromedia Flash can be found online.
[edit] Trivia
- Tom Larkin holds the official record for this game on 'Single' settings with a maximum 2 009 000 points [1]
