Armands Strazds (born March 10, 1970 in Riga, Latvia) is a Latvian composer, producer and software developer.
Studied composition with Gederts Ramans and Friedhelm Doehl, computer music with Dirk Reith; PhD studies on Learning Technologies with Atis Kapenieks.
Author of the EXPO 2000 project Zime together with Modris Tenisons (2000).
Author of the Golden Book of Hymnica (1990).
Developer of algorithmic composition systems: digital winds (1995), hymnica (2003).
