Armand de Brignac is the name of an ultra-high end Champagne identifiable by its gold-coated bottle and Ace of Spades-themed pewter labels. The new blend of champagne made from AJC vineyards in Reims was to be introduced to the U.S. and other markets in late 2006. [1]. As of October, 2006, Armand has been spotted at nightclub hotspots at prices in excess of $1000 per bottle.

Thanks to the Cristal hip-hop controversy, in which a perceived racial slight by Louis Roederer's Frederic Rouzaud led American rapper Jay-Z to boycott the company's Champagne, Armand de Brignac has been name-dropped (as "Armand," "Gold Bottle," "Ace of Spades," or simply "Ace") in Jay-Z's Show Me What You Got:

"H-O-V-A, gold bottles of that Ace of Spades"[2]
