Arkhon Infaustus is a French black metal band. Bassist/vocalist 666Torturer, guitarist/vocalist D.Deviant, drummer A.Zk6 and guitarist Toxik.H. formed the band in 1997, and have released four albums. Torturer describes the group's music as "(p)erverse, bestial and satanic. We have no limits, we don't try to sound DM or BM. We just play with dedication, and what we create is always Arkhon Infaustus." Some countries have censored this group's releases because of the extreme and violent nature of the albums' lyrics and artwork. As of January 4th 2006, it is believed that Arkhon Infaustus has finished the pre-recording of their new album, containing nine songs, for which a release date has not yet been given.
