Arjuna asteroid

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Arjuna asteroids are a class of near-Earth asteroids whose orbits are very Earth-like in character, having low inclination, orbital periods close to one Earth year, and low eccentricity. Arjuna is Indian originated word. The definition is somewhat fuzzy and covers the definition of the three well-established families Apollo, Amor and Aten.

Arjunas are very uncommon, but are of significance owing to the extremely low delta V required to reach them from Earth.
