[edit] Speedy deletion of Image:Midland.jpg

A tag has been placed on Image:Midland.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Blatant copyright infingment, the image is even watermarked!

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

[edit] Repeated uploading of copyright images

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your original contributions are welcome.

It is very clear, looking at the dates of your uploads and the comments posted above, that you have continued to upload copyrighted images even after being warned not to. In addition, you have systematically lied about their appropriate copyright/fee-use tags. As a formal warning was not given above I have chosen to use the fairly mild rebuke above. Please be warned however, that if you do continue to upload copyrighted images and lie about their status, I will push for an immediate block. Pyrope 18:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
It seems to me you have been well warned, so please consider this your final warning. You have uploaded Image:NewRenault.jpg under a free licence with no evidence to prove that that is justified. When you provide a source it should be the exact url. If the image is indeed free use and not copyrighted, I apologise. However I'm going to assume such a new and high quality image is not. The next time you upload a copyrighted image you will be blocked. I'm happy to help you if you want some advice on a particular image before you upload it in future. Thank you. [edit] Unspecified source for Image:NewRenault.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:NewRenault.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mark83 19:37, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
