Arizona Sundogs

The Arizona Sundogs are an minor-league ice hockey team based in Prescott Valley, Arizona that began play in 2006. Affiliated with the Central Hockey League, the team plays its home games at Tim's Toyota Center.

One of the top players for the Sundogs in their inagural season was Brent Kelly. A native of Kitchener, Ontario, he led the CHL in goals scored with 42. Other accomplishments for the 2006-2007 season . . . CHL All-Star, named to the All-CHL Team, finished second in the voting for the CHL MVP. According to an interview given on "The Tri-City Sports Round-Up" Show on radio station The News, 1490 AM, Kelly said his favorite musician is Eminem. His funniest moment in hockey was a game in Toledo when play was held up because a flock of birds living in the arena landed on the ice. Toledo was also Kelly's least favorite place to play.
