[edit] Summary

It was released in the summer of 1993 and to date is Tasmin’s highest debuting single, entering the charts at #31. Despite its high debut, the single managed just to climb to #30 before quickly vanishing off the face of the chart. Like Lords Of The New Church, the single probably suffered as it was the fourth release from a successful album.

[edit] More Information

  • The name Arienne is actually non-existent. In actual fact, Tasmin had a melody in her head and the name Arienne just seemed to fit.
  • Tasmin says the lyrics of “Arienne” are about “finding your way in the world and having to cope with growing up in a world that's not so friendly.”
