Ariel Wizman

Ariel Wizman is a French musician and journalist born in Morocco in 1962.
His family, as many Sephardim North-African families, left Morocco after Six-Day War and settled in France. In Paris, Wizman met the philosopher Emmanuel Lévinas and thanks to him, he attempted the École normale israélite orientale. In a gypsy party, he met Édouard Baer. Both of them liked La grosse boule in Radio Nova and collaborated in several projects.
Wizman has worked for Actuel, Vogue Homme or 20 ans and produced several programs for France culture. In 1995, he was chief director of >Interactif and he's a popular DJ currently.
In the television, he has appeared as a writer in Nulle part ailleurs. From September 2003 to June 2005, with Stéphane Bern, he took part in several 8h10pm programs and he works for Tentations.06 in Canal+,Sundays at 12h05 am.
He's a member of the electronic music group Grand Popo Football Club (with Nicolas Errèra)(album : Shampoo victims, 2000)
