Pytrell's plays are a search for harmoniously embody the aspects of both the classic and traditional theatre with the most modern stage production. As usual in his native country of Argentina, his academic education was focused in Stanislawski-Strasberg’s method, but early in his professional training he began to specialize in Greek Theatre as well as in the so-called Theatre of Image, aiming to amalgamate his knowledge on both a conceptual and visual theatre, with special importance in the drama play as a “score” in itself and as a visual and philosophical performance. His productions combine both opposed sub-genre: Greek Tragedy, in its updated form as neo-tragedy, and the Theatre-of-Image, to which is added the influence of modern Literature, Comic, Cinema and Video-Clip’s aesthetics, Music, Anthropological Theatre, Rhythmics, etc.
