Argyle Secondary School is a secondary school located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It offers both English and French Immersion programs. Argyle has a waiting list for enrollment, sometimes having to turn away students from inside its own catchment area.[citation needed]

Argyle's music program is know for being one of the best in the province.[citation needed] Over 45% of the student population participates in some form of musical activity within the school.[citation needed] Argyle's Senior Band and Choir travel the world performing.

Argyle is noted for its Basketball, Rugby, Cross Country, Ultimate Frisbee and Soccer teams. Also noted is the Senior Girls' soccer team's domination of opponents. The girls' soccer team had at one point won the provincial championships 5 years in a row. Another recent provincial championship coming from this prestigious school came courtesy of the Senior Boys' basketball team in the 2003-04 season at the Triple A level. Argyle X-Country Running has also been very successful, sealing a 5th North Shore Championships in a row; winning 3 of the 4 race categories. Moreover, Argyle also is the first school in the province to begin a cross-country mountain bike racing league.[citation needed]

Argyle not only offers French in an immersion environment but also offers Spanish, Mandarin,French and German as classes of study.

Argyle has a theatre program offering programs in acting, directing and stagecraft and performing shows every year.

Argyle has begun to phase out unhealthy choices on its cafeteria menu,to take out unhealthy snacks from vending machines, and to replace them with healthier choices. Argyle encourages a more active lifestyle. Although, Argyle will continually sell donuts, burgers, and fried potatoes, along with meany other unhealthy food if it will raise funds for the school.

A few of the famous students who have attended Argyle Secondary School include actor Jason Priestley, actress Rachel Cronin, and singer Bryan Adams. Paul Kariya's father, Tetsuhiko Kariya, was a mathematics teacher at the school for many years.
Also part of Argyle were members of the band Crowned King and Soul Decision.
