Argox manufactures barcode scanners, barcode printers, and portable data terminals. Based in Taiwan, the company has grown rapidly since its inception in 1996, and now has distribution in over 70 countries.
Argox focuses on entry- and mid-level barcode technology, and cites its proximity with PC component manufacturers in Taipei, Taiwan as a competitive advantage. In addition to selling its own branded products, Argox also provides private label manufacturing for other AIDC companies.
In 2000, Argox received Taiwan's National Symbol of Excellence Award. [1]
