Talk:Are We Done Yet?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I went to the movies this weekend to see Unnacompanied Minors and there was a trailer for the movie that played, and yes it is Are We Done Yet? a sequel to Are We There Yet?. I will try to find the trailer.
- 1) Corrected grammar
- 2) Brian Levant directed Are We There Yet
- 3) It's pretty much a no brainer that if a film grosses a lot of money there'll be a sequel
- 4) If you say the original that means they wrote Mr. Blandings.
- 5) AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I'm not even sure this is a sequel to Are We There Yet as imdb.com state that it's called No Place Like Home

- I've heard now that it is so ignore no.5 (Pally01 11:15, 12 February 2006 (UTC))

- 1) Thomas Hayden Church HAS left the production (see [1].
- 2) Saying that the reason there is a sequel is because the first film made a lot of money is unnecessary. If that was the case you would find people saying it in films from Star Wars to Scary Movie.

Cigammagicwizard, I'm sorry but you are the one not reading them properly.
- [2] from Empire Online "Steve Carr is still directing, but there’s been one other slight change to the plan: Thomas Hayden Church, who was signed to play a contractor who clashes with Cube as his house renovation turns to chaos, will now be busy working on a little superhero film. Maybe you’ve heard of it: bloke dresses up as a spider?
This means that as he is working on Spiderman 3 he will not have time to do "Are We There Yet?"
- [3] from joblo "The rest of the cast is seeing some shake-ups as Nia Long is in talks to join the cast, once again playing Cube's wife and Thomas Haden Church, who would've been playing the contractor in charge of building the dream house, has dropped out"
I think this speaks for itself.
- [4] from comingsoon "Gone from "Blandings" is Thomas Haden Church, who was going to play a contractor in the remake but now will be busy with Spider-Man 3."
Again, this says that he has gone.
I hope that this puts this arguement to rest. If both films are coming out next year then Haden Chuch will probably be contracted for re shoots and the like well into 2007 leaving him no time for "Are We Done Yet"
