Ardy Lightfoot is a platform game released on the Super Nintendo in 1994 (US) and in Japan released in 1993. It was developed by ASCII and published by Titus in the US. Ardy Lightfoot is a fox/cat-like creature that is accompanied by his best friend Pec, a blue, circular penguin creature. Pec can be used as a weapon, or can take the role of various other helpful devices like a hot air balloon or rock destroyer. The story of the game is that the rainbow has shattered into seven pieces and it's up to Ardy to obtain them all again. Collecting them will let you have a wish. An evil king named Visconti (who has a piece himself) wants to collect them before Ardy does so he sends out his baddies and henchmen, Beecroft, Catry and others to take out Ardy and take the gems. While getting help from your friends like the elder (unknown name), Nina, and a mysterious adventurer named Don Jacoby.

Numerious things were changed when Titus published Ardy lightfoot for American audiences.
- Numerous sprites, such as Ardy's "waiting" pose, were removed.
- In the forest level, tied up and crying animals were removed from the background.
- In level 6, "Eaten!", Catry's "pile of bones" sprite because of death by acid was replaced with a sprite of her laying on the ground; the acid drip was removed from the ceiling.

The game also features cheat codes to unlock certain features. Various cheat codes include
- Sepia tone colors: Hold L + A before any scene, including levels.
- Skip cinematics: Press Start + Right + Y before beginning the game.
- Mini-Ardy: Press Start + Up + X before beginning the game.
- Debug mode: Hold Right, Y, L, and A, and press Start before beginning the game.
- Greyscale colors: Hold L + B before any scene, including levels.
