Ardscoil Rís is an all boys secondary school located in the heart of Limerick.
Opened by the Christian Brothers in 1963, the school has over 700 pupils and a teaching staff of 50.
Though the Brothers retain a presence on the Board of Management, as Trustees, Ardscoil Rís is now staffed entirely by lay teachers.
Notable past-pupils include Pat Cox (President of the European Parliament 2002–2004), Paul O'Connell (British and Irish Lions rugby player), Sam Lynch (Olympic rower), and Peter Power (Fianna Fáil TD).
