[edit] Another Featured Article try?

Since the last featured article nomination, we have made lots of improvements to this article. What does everyone think about renominating it? --Leifern 15:16, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

  • Are all the external links necessary?
  • Interesting comment, since you saw fit to insert -cf- template several places. --Leifern 01:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I don't know any cf template. But when I said external links I meant just that, and not references. Punkmorten 07:43, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Could there be fewer redlinks especially towards the end? Jon Eikvar, Sven Erik Engebretsen, Knud Munk, Jan Inge Hovig, Roar Jacobsen and Ulf Zettersten - need we link to all these persons?
  • Why not? --Leifern 01:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • I don't know how notable they are, but many links in one place and none of them blue leads me to suspect some of them will never get articles. Punkmorten 07:43, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • The picture Loft in Setesdal doesn't fit in the lead and should perhaps be removed. Or perhaps moved to the section Vernacular architecture.
  • Ehm, no. This is an example of architecture that is fairly unique to Norway. It fits perfectly in the lead --Leifern 01:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • It's out of context though. The lead doesn't meantion any lofts, how are people unfamiliar with the subject supposed to understand its purpose? Another concern is that it looks bad in juxtaposition with the Regional-arch template and the table of contents. Preferably, a text body should not be squeezed inbetween two boxes. Punkmorten 07:43, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
  • The article says that "Hence, Renaissance architecture is almost non-existent in Norway" whereas the next paragraph describes examples of Renaissance architecture. Fix this contradiction please.
  • Actually, it's not a contradiction at all; but I made it more clear. --Leifern 01:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
