Arcos de Valdevez (pron. IPA: ['aɾkuʃ dɨ vaɫdɨ'veʃ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 447.6 km² and a total population of 24,635 inhabitants. Arcos has a football(soccer) club Atletico de Valdevez The municipality is composed of 51 parishes, and is located in the district of Viana do Castelo.
The present Mayor is Francisco Rodrigues de Araújo, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is July 11.
