Archimedes bridge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An Archimedes bridge is a tunnel that floats in water, and is a sustainable bridge that works through the theory of hydrostatic thrust (also known as Archimedes Principle) developed by Archimedes[1]. It is sometimes also known as a suspending tunnel or a submerged floating tunnel (SFT).[2]
The tube is suspended underwater, with cables to the Earth preventing its floating to the surface.[1]
