Archibald Thomas Pechey

Archibald Thomas Pechey, often credited simply as Valentine, was a British lyricist and novelist. He was born in 1876 and died in 1961. Pechey often worked in conjunction with composer James W. Tate. Pechey also wrote crime novels under the name Mark Cross.
Songs written by Valentine include "A Paradise For Two" from 1917.
Novels include the thrillers "The Shadow of the Four" and "Who killed Henry Wickenstrom".
Pechey was the father of well known television cook Fanny Cradock.
