The current Ecumenical Patriarchate's bishop for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada is His Eminence Archbishop Yurij (Kalistchuk). Archbishop Yurij's current title is: Archbishop of Toronto and the Eastern Diocese, and he has served in that capacity since 1995, officially. The Eastern Diocese consists of the Canadian provinces Ontario and Quebec, and has about 25 churches (including 2 cathedral churches).

Also since the UOCC is under the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and the Patriarchate has a bishop of Toronto (Greek Metropolis of Toronto, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Sotirios), there is a dilemma to regarding the titles of the bishops. Only one bishop can hold the title of one city, and this problem has yet to be solved.
