[edit] History

Archambault Musique was established in Montreal by Edmond Archambault in 1896. It began as a sheet music store located at the corner of Saint Catherine and Saint Hubert streets before relocating in 1930 to Saint Catherine and Berri. Archambault still operates a store at this location.

Over the years, Archambault expanded from selling sheet music to selling musical instruments, publishing music, selling records and books.
