Arbetsgemenskapen Kyrklig Förnyelse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arbetsgemenskapen Kyrklig Förnyelse (aKF) (Swedish Church Union) is the umbrella organisation of Lutheran High Church movement in Church of Sweden. Its birth was originally inspired by book "Kyrklig förnyelse" by Fr. Gunnar Rosendal and it existed already long time before its official foundation 28 April 1959. The annual assembly of aKF is in Uppsala at August. Theologically aKF is orthodox and in opposition to Folk Church ideology and general theological liberalism in Church of Sweden. AKF's sister organisations are Church Union in Church of England, Bønne- og arbeidsfellesskapet Kirkelig Fornyelse in Norway and Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kirchliche Erneuerung in der Evang.-Luth. Kirche in Bayern in Germany.
