April Tribunal

The April Tribunal was a terrorist group in the Honorverse.

The April Tribunal was splinter group of the Citizens Rights Union (CRU), a terrorist organization in the People's Republic of Haven. Unlike factions within the CRU, the April Tribunal or Aprilists as the individual members were called, had a reputation for fighting a "clean" war because they only targeted members of the Office of Internal Security. After the Harris Assassination, the Tribunal publicly supported the Committee of Public Safety.

Over the course of the next ten years, many of the Aprilists were quietly disappeared. After the Theisman Coup, Eloise Pritchart, herself a former Aprilist, became President, and selected other Aprilists to fill key cabinent positions.

The April Tribunal was named for a massacre perpetuated by the Office of Internal Security in April 1861 P.D..
