April Taylor

April Taylor is an American country singer. Her debut album is titled I Wanna Live Like That. One of the songs on the album, "Hero at Home", is a tribute to the wife a U.S. soldier sent abroad. [1] She has played the song at various events for service family members.[2] Since 2005, Taylor has toured throughout the U.S.[3]
Taylor first gained attention through a local radio competition.[4] She and two other finalists were selected to perform for an audience of 3000. She was the winner of the contest.[4] Plateau Music signed her to their label.[4]

Taylor was born in Bristol, Tennessee where she graduated from Tennessee High School.[5] While being raised in Bristol, she regularly sang in church.[1]
